HUNTINGTON THEATRE COMPANY

HUNTINGTON THEATRE COMPANY, Boston's leading professional theatre, has experienced major artistic and institutional growth since 2000 under Artistic Director Nicholas Martin and Managing Director Michael Maso. In residence at Boston University, the Huntington operates three theatres in two locations - including the 890-seat Boston University Theatre and two stages in the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts, which opened in 2004 as the city's first new theatre building in 75 years. In addition to The 39 Steps, the Huntington was a co-producer earlier this season of Theresa Rebeck's Mauritius, which received its world premiere at the Huntington in 2006.
