Under the guidance of Douglas Aibel, artistic director, the Vineyard is dedicated to
creating new work, taking artistic risks and collaborating with gifted artists on provocative new plays and musicals. The
Vineyard is the only theatre company to have premiered two Pulitzer Prize dramas in the last decade: Paula Vogel's How I
Learned to Drive and Edward Albee's Three Tall Women. In addition to Avenue Q, other notable premieres include Nicky
Silver's Pterodactyls, Craig Lucas' The Dying Gaul, Becky Mode's Fully Committed and Eli's Comin'. The Vineyard
received the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Body of Work and special Drama Desk and Obie Awards for Sustained
Excellence. Visit www.vineyardtheatre.org.
