GEOFF GERSH
GEOFF GERSH (Full Time Zither) graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 1995 with a B.S. in jazz guitar. He performs with various bands in New York including the ambient-avant-world music improvisation trio Straylight and Lost in the Sauce, a funk influenced project. Geoff composes for film and dance and was Co-composer for Cynthia Oliver's 1995/96 Bessie Award winning Death's Door and recently had his composition 'Remembrance' performed in Germany. He has received the Meet the Composer grant on multiple occasions.
