MOYA DOHERTY MOYA DOHERTY Her career includes theatre, radio and television production in Ireland and internationally. Moya is the producer of Riverdance, composed by Bill Whelan; a director of Tyrone Productions, Ireland’s leading independent television production company; a former chair, and member of the board, of the Dublin Theatre Festival; producer, with John McColgan, of Boublil & Schönberg’s musical The Pirate Queen. Moya has won many awards and accolades: Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award; Honorary Doctorates from the University of Ulster and the National University of Ireland in recognition of her ongoing commitment to the arts in Ireland.
