BLYTHE DANNER
BLYTHE DANNER (Phyllis Rogers Stone). Ms. Danner's first Broadway-bound musical, Mata Hari, was derailed in D.C., never making it to the Great White Way. While patiently awaiting her next musical -- Follies, 33 years later -- she raised a family with her husband, writer/director Bruce Paltrow, and appeared in many non-musicals To name a few: Butterflies AreFree (Tony), Betrayal and Streetcar (Tony noms). She was Beatrice to Kevin Kline's Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing, a human to S.J. Parker's dog in A.R. Gurney's Sylvia and Elvira to Ms. Ivey's Ruth in Blithe Spirit. She's played at Williamstown Theatre Festival for 22 seasons (The Seagull w/Louis Zorich) and has performed in lots of TV and film, but doesn't have the room to tell you about them. She's delighted to appear for the third time at The Roundabout and to finally be singing and dancing on Broadway.
