Synopsis:
Hypochondriac Argan’s medical costs are skyrocketing. Unless his daughter marries a doctor, he can’t possibly afford that double-strength rhubarb enema! But his daughter has fallen for someone else and her stepmother wants her in a convent. So it’s up to Argan’s crafty maid to devise a cure for the woes of the entire household. Full of sex, love and greed, this satire is just what the doctor ordered.
