Synopsis:
Goethe's epic poem for the theatre has remained ultra-modern ever since he first unleashed it onto the world over two centuries ago. At once romantic, provocative, comic, and insightful, it is a tale of unquenchable desires, a critique of modern thinking, an exploration of our vast hopes for a better life, and a sharp debate over what is good and evil in us all. This adaptation cuts to the chase, hurtling Faust headlong down his wished-for path to enlightenment. Will he find it? Or blow it?
