The Whipping Man

The three men negotiate their new relationship, honor their shared faith and celebrate newfound freedom.

Synopsis:
Following the Civil War, a Jewish Confederate soldier and two former slaves reunite to celebrate Passover. As the three men recall the exodus from Egypt in light of their own new liberties, they uncover a tangle of secrets--ties that bind them together and that, ultimately, might cost each his freedom.
