A young woman, who's an exotic dancer by night and a welder by day, has a dream to become a classical dancer. Based on the 1983 film that starred Jennifer Beale, the new musical introduces 16 new songs that complement those from the movie, including “Flashdance – What a Feeling,” “Maniac,” “Gloria,” “Manhunt” and “I Love Rock & Roll.”
Synopsis:
Set in Pittsburgh, PA, Flashdance The Musical tells the story of 18-year-old Alex, a welder by day and flashdancer by night, whose dream is to obtain a place at the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy.
