Nathan Lane returns to Broadway as Chauncey Miles, a homosexual burlesque star who lives a secret life in the underground gay milieu of 1930's New York.
Synopsis:
The play takes its title from a staple vaudeville character, an effeminate homosexual man (usually played by a straight performer), who was featured in burlesque sketches and films of that era. Here the nance is living and working in a secretive gay world and trying to cope with his messy offstage life.
