Synopsis:
Vigorous octogenarian minister, Dr. Gotchall, has created a mega church and is not about to hand it over to just anyone. He summons charismatic Rev. Jerry Mears to "audition" as his successor. Mears' descent into the worldly lures of TV ministries and Crystal Cathedrals raises the issue of love of material gain eclipsing love of the Divine.
