Beautifully expressed through the rousing beat of the gospel choir, the community's sense of love, grief and spiritual survival will be given full voice in the National's production of James Baldwin's The Amen Corner.
Synopsis:
After leaving her jazz musician husband after the death of her second child, Sister Margaret becomes a minister who insists that members of her congregation and her son dedicate themselves to the Lord's work.
