Following the success of 2012’s Julius Caesar, Phyllida Lloyd returns to the Donmar Warehouse with an all-female Henry IV.
An epic saga of the succession of the early 15th century English monarchy as well as an exploration of the father-son dynamic, this adaptation by Dakin Matthews consolidates the action of both Henry IV Part I and Part II,enabling audiences to experience the transformation of the central character, Prince Hal, into King Henry V.
