Neil Patrick Harris' new staging of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Rent runs at the historic Hollywood Bowl Aug. 6-8. This week's CELEB PlayBlogger Telly Leung — who plays Angel in the production — offers a look backstage at his fellow Rent-ers.

The starry cast features "High School Musical" actress Vanessa Hudgens as Mimi, Emmy winner and Grammy nominee Wayne Brady as Tom Collins, Next to Normal's Aaron Tveit as Roger, Spring Awakening's Skylar Astin as Mark, The Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger as Maureen, Collins Pennie as Benjamin (“Benny”) Coffin III, Tracy Thoms as Joanne, Pacific Overtures' Telly Leung as Angel with original Broadway Rent actress (and "Seasons of Love" soloist) Gwen Stewart.
