Cuellar, McWilliams, Zampelli, Curry and Olivera Will Be LaChiusa's Ladies

Casting has been announced for Signature Theatre's upcoming revue of Michael John LaChiusa songs, LaChiusa's Ladies, which will be presented in the ARK Theatre March 18-21.



Directed by Michael Baron, the evenings of song will boast the talents of Helen Hayes Award nominees Felicia Curry and Tracy Lynn Olivera as well as Signature vocalists Priscilla Cuellar, Amy McWilliams and Rachel Zampelli.

Music director Gabriel Mangiante will be featured on the piano. The revue will include songs from LaChiusa's Hello Again, The Highest Yellow, Little Fish, Marie Christine, The Wild Party and more."

"Vincent Van Gogh's mistress. A Japanese courtesan plotting to kill her lover. Greek mythology's infamous Medea. A woman trying to quit smoking. What do these women have in common?," ask press notes for LaChiusa's Ladies. "They are just a few of the fascinating characters featured in Signature Theatre's latest cabaret."

Show times are March 18 and 19 at 8:30 PM and March 20 and 21 at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM.

Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA, will produce two other LaChiusa works this season: See What I Wanna See (April 7-May 31 in the ARK Theatre) and the world premiere of Giant (April 28-May 31 in the MAX Theatre).
