Playbill.com's series features brief chats with actors commenting on their recent theatregoing experiences, what productions they are looking forward to and more. Here, via email, we hear from singing actor Jeremy Kushnier, most recently seen on Broadway in the acclaimed revival of Jesus Christ Superstar.
What show recently impressed you?
I've been doing Jesus Christ Superstar and being a dad to two kids, so I honestly haven't seen anything this season. But my wife, Jenny Lee Stern, saw One Man, Two Guvnors, and she absolutely loved it!
What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
Well, I keep talking about it, but I was involved with an amazing production of Chess at the Signature Theatre in Arlington. I played Freddy opposite Jill Paice and Euan Morton. I would love that to come in and soon!
UPCOMING PROJECTS: Kushnier will succeed Andy Karl in the role of Tommy DeVito in Broadway's Jersey Boys Oct. 9.
