"Here she is, boys! Here she is, world! Here's Rose!" — a dozen of them. With talk of a 2013 London revival of Stephen Sondheim, Arthur Laurents and Jule Styne's iconic musical Gypsy, we take a look back at 12 divas who took on the second-act, show-stopping ballad "Rose's Turn."

From Ethel Merman, who originated the role of Rose in the 1959 Broadway production of Gypsy and received a Tony nomination for her performance, to Patti LuPone, Broadway's most recent Rose, who took home the 2008 Tony for her turn, Playbill.com offers a dozen performances from Gypsy.

As previously reported, Oscar nominee Imelda Staunton may be the next leading lady to take on the overbearing stage mother in a 2013 London revival.
