Jerry's Girls, celebrating the music of Tony Award-winning Hello, Dolly! and Mame composer-lyricist Jerry Herman, opened on Broadway Dec. 18, 1985. In celebration of the production, Playbill.com has put together a musical tribute.
The musical featured leading ladies Dorothy Loudon, Chita Rivera and Leslie Uggams and included songs from Hello, Dolly!; Mame; La Cage aux Folles; and Mack and Mabel, among others.
Here's a look at some of our favorite performances of Herman's irrepressibly tuneful music.
You're invited to spend an evening filled with personal tales of difficult choices, bad breaks, worse men and some of the most glorious songs ever written. It's an intimate evening, up close with a legend.
So pull up a chair and order up a drink. Because she's got a life to sing. Tickets as low as $85!
