Broadway has a history of sports-related productions, from classics including Damn Yankees and Golden Boy, to contemporary plays like Take Me Out, Lombardi and Magic/Byrd. This season Broadway welcomes the new Yankees drama Bronx Bombers, which currently plays the Circle in the Square. Read more about it here.

If you don't think the typical Broadway play or musical is for you, take a look at some of the immersive theatrical events that put you in the center of the action. New York City is currently host to the acclaimed interactive productions of Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (currently playing at Kazino in midtown), as well as Sleep No More (at the McKittrick Hotel in Chelsea), the theatrical feast Queen of the Night (at the Paramount Hotel's Diamond Horseshoe), as well as Speakeasy Dollhouse: The Brothers Booth (at the Player's Club), Then She Fell (in Brooklyn) and Speakeasy Dollhouse (in downtown Manhattan).
