Super Bowl XLVIII
On Sunday, Feb. 2 the Seattle Seahawks will face off against the Denver Broncos at MetLife Stadium in the first-ever, open-air, cold-weather Super Bowl.
Super Bowl XLVIII is full of firsts. Not only will it be the first open-air cold-weather Super Bowl, but it was recently announced that Grammy Award-winning opera singer Renee Fleming will perform the national anthem. This is the first time in history that an opera singer will perform at the Super Bowl.
