New York never gets tired of seeing Twelfth Night. Or, New York theatres never get tired of putting it on. I'm not sure which force drives the fact that we seem to see this Shakespearean comedy at least once a season.

Tony categories come, Tony categories go. Remember Best Producer? Best Author? Best Stage Technician? These were all once Tony categories. But, as the recent aborted attempt to give out a prize for Best Replacement Actor illustrates, the Tony people often have a hard time making up their mind.
