Follow Sharone Sayegh Through The Band’s Visit Opening Night
Tonight is Opening! I woke up to a beautiful card and gold roller skate necklace from my husband - the man knows how to gift.
Finishing up my last couple opening night gifts, I got everyone....
...custom dice! Petach Tikvah? Or Beit Haitikva? ;)
My parents are in town from LA and came over for brunch! How can you visit NYC without having bagels?
Wow, wow, wow, our dressing room is packed with gifts! Overwhelmed by all the love.
Pre-show skate call with Bill Army, Etai Benson, and Rachel Prather - safety first, folks.
At our circle-up before half hour, the company presented custom-made Shesh Besh (backgammon) sets to our creative team and producers. Shesh Besh is a very popular middle eastern game. We have many boards at the theater and all play throughout the show (and on stage in the cafe scene)!
Places! Ready to go in my first costume - ken ha mefaked! ("Yes, captain!" in Hebrew)
During the show with my Israeli brothers, Ari'el Stachel and Etai Benson - so incredible to be representing our people on Broadway for the first time together!
With the best dressing roommate and stage cousin ever, Rachel Prather! She's not so gloomy in real life ;)
