Michael McCorry Rose and Tiffany Haas, who currently appear on Broadway in Wicked and will offer Cheek to Cheek: A Broadway Romance May 19 at Birdland, share a recent two-show day in Oz. Follow them as they balance work with last-minute tasks leading up to Monday's concert!

Tiffany: “Surprise! Guess who is on for Glinda at today’s matinee?!?! I am! O.M.Goodness!!!”
Michael: This morning I started my two-show day by having coffee with my dear friend, next door neighbor and former <i>Wicked</i> castmate Lindsay Mendez. She just returned from 6 weeks in Kansas City so we had lots to catch up on.
After coffee with Lindsay I headed down the street to the gym to take a photo in front of their sign. I didn’t actually work out, I just flung a towel around my neck and had my friend Franz snap a pic.
Tiffany: My two show day always starts with a cup of coffee!
Tiffany: After coffee I’m off to the gym for my favorite yoga class!
Tiffany: I try and make it to a yoga class most mornings, especially before a two show day. I’ll definitely take a yoga class before our upcoming concert <i>Cheek to Cheek: A Broadway Romance</i> at Birdland on Monday, May 19 @7PM!

We arrive at the Gershwin Stage door for the start of a two-show day.
This is a view of the <i>Wicked</i> Alumni Hallway that lists every cast member in <i>Wicked</i>’s 10 year history. We love walking up this staircase every day!
Fellow cast member Heather Spore and I were in mid-conversation in the green room when suddenly our stage manager Jen Marik came on the loud speaker to announce the half-hour call.
“Yes Alicia, that’s the concert that everyone is talking about.”
“Yes Nessa! Birdland IS wheelchair accessible so we’ll see you and Boq there on Monday, May 19 at 7PM.”
Tiffany: “Surprise! Guess who is on for Glinda at today’s matinee?!?! I am! O.M.Goodness!!!”
My girl Elphie coaching me through some tunes from <i>Cheek to Cheek</i> right before “places.”
Tiffany: “Hey Andy, did you buy your tickets?” Andy (our percussionist extraordinaire): “Duh, I’m offended you’d even ask."
Instead of studying for their upcoming history test in Doctor Dillamond’s class, these two Shiz students (played by Lindsay Wood and Lauen Linville) are FREAKING OUT about our show!

In her new capacity as Press Secretary, Madame Morrible (played by the incomparable Mary Testa) publicizes <i>Cheek to Cheek</i>. Of course she'll be there!

Between shows we did a quick phone interview promoting the concert. Thanks to Layne at Polk & Co. for setting the interview up for us!
Between shows President Obama’s motorcade went speeding by the Gershwin Theatre, which is why 50th Street is blocked off in this photo.
Between shows I went out to the lobby and snapped a quick photo with the evening’s winners of the Wicked lottery!

Arriving to work for the evening show! Wanted to throw this on the call board, just in case a co-worker happened to have not yet heard about it.

After the matinee I threw on my Fiyero garb so Catherine Charlebois, Michael Wartella, Tiffany and I could take a quick picture and relive memories of when we met out on tour together with <i>Wicked</i>.
No two-show day on Broadway would be complete without dinner catered by Randy Witherspoon of Spoonfed NYC!
Cheri, sweetheart of the hair department here at <i>Wicked</i>, cheerfully takes our wigs once the final curtain falls.
We know it’s the end of a great two-show day when we see the smiling face of Jordan Pankin from our awesome sound department coming to collect our microphones.
At the end of our two-show day at <i>Wicked</i> we head home and on our walk we discuss how much fun we had shooting candid photos at work in support of our upcoming concert. Hope to see you there! And of course at <i>Wicked</i> too!
