Spend a Two-Show Day in Fiddler on the Roof'sInfamous Dressing Room 51 With Alexandra Silber and Samantha Massell
Onstage sisters and backstage besties Alexandra Silber and Samantha Massell are making magic as Tzeitel and Hodel in the new Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof. They take us behind the scenes and welcome you to @DressingRoom51!
Welcome Playbill to a two-show day at Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof with Tevye's two eldest daughters, Tzeitel and Hodel (aka Alexandra Silber and Samantha Massell), direct from Dressing Room 51 at The Broadway Theatre. We are so excited to share the day ahead with all of you!
Samantha likes to start her day by walking her 14-year-old dog Puccini in the rain...in her pajamas...with no umbrella.
Samantha looks lovingly into the eyes of her cast over her morning cup of coffee....
Al enjoys her tea (in her signature owl mug--she loves owls--) whilst grading journals and papers from her students at Pace University.
On her way to the theatre, Sam ran into Avram the Bookseller, aka George Psomas. PS. she didn't buy a book.
These sisters run on coconut water and B12 shots. Breaking tradition takes energy and major hydration you guys.
Whoops. Take 2.... Timers are hard.
We thought we should introduce you to the fellow occupants of Dressing room 51. Meet our appliances! BEHOLD: Jaques Gregsberg: our French Press, KARL: our tea kettle, and Irene Malloy, our humidifier who is named such because of the ribbons down her back. Duh.
Time to check in with the incredible Hank Hale, now that "Matchmaker" number one is over and "L'chaim" is well underway!
