Cast members from the Manhattan Concert Productions special engagement at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall share where they feel the most peaceful and content. As told to Ruthie Fierberg.
Where is your Secret Garden?
Cheyenne Jackson, Neville Craven: “[With] my husband. Yeah. My husband and my dog and our house.”
Ramin Karimloo, Archibald Craven: “You know, if I had to say now, at this point in my life, it’d be in New York because of my boys.”
Daisy Eagan, Martha: “My happy peaceful place? Well, I love to sleep, so probably my bed.”
Sierra Boggess, Lily Craven: “I’m originally from Denver, Colorado, so I am a hippy at heart, and I always grew up in nature. So in New York, it was important for me to find nature. I live a block from Central Park, so I am in Central Park as often as I possibly can [be].”
Ben Platt, Dickon: “The annoying answer is: Onstage. I feel the most at home and at ease onstage and like I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing, and sort of no chips on the shoulder, and it’s just freedom."
