Since our founding in 2001, we’ve worked with some of the world’s leading brands including Stoli Vodka, The Metropolitan Opera, HBO, Major League Soccer, Wicked, National Geographic, Mean Girls, Meals on Wheels and The Ad Council. Our competitive edge continues to be our ability to develop and leverage proprietary insights gathered from joining the front lines of the world’s most passionate brand communities. Our work spans creative, media, communications, and technology solutions for a wide range of industries. Situation has also been honored with numerous workplace awards from Crain’s, Best Companies Group, Cynopsis, Digiday, and Fortune.

If you’re looking for a work environment that values big ideas, diverse voices, and above all, its people, you will love working here.

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Account Executive to support a Senior Account Executive and/or Account Supervisor in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of their client base. With 3+ years of experience in a marketing, agency or digital capacity, you’ll be primed to take on this vital role.

You’ll oversee your clients’ digital footprints, including website, content marketing, social media management, and media campaigns. You’ll work closely with your fellow account team members and other internal departments to make sure that all the work we do for your client base is strategic and in line with the client’s goals and objectives.  This includes not only having a concrete understanding of the strategic direction of the client, but also understanding what priorities are for a client and how to collaborate with our internal team members to get projects through the pipeline on time and under budget.

You’ll build strong relationships with clients, partners and vendors. You’ll help in identifying strategic opportunities for your clients that not only benefit the client’s goals, but also help to grow our business with them.  Above all, you’ll be a champion for your clients and a master of communication - both internal and external -in a fast-paced agency environment.

  • Are a top-notch communicator. Whether you’re having a daily check-in with a group of internal team members about project updates or media campaign insights or you’re communicating difficult updates or changes to your clients, you have the skills that extend beyond just email to communicate quickly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Thrive in the area of always anticipating the next thing.  You have a natural instinct of when to shift priorities - and love succeeding in doing so.
  • Are a natural people-person. You understand what makes people tick, and you relish building and maintaining relationships. You innately understand how to interact with just about anyone.
  • Excel at deadlines and strive to never miss one - but know how and when to communicate if you might. You live and die by your calendar and your to-do list, and you keep others around you on time and on task.
  • Have a solid understanding of the digital world, from desktop to mobile to social to media (and beyond) and are always eager to continue learning and growing your digital IQ. You also love sharing that knowledge with others and can confidently do so to all different types of people.
  • Feel comfortable knowing the details of how something works while letting other experts own the minutia - and understand how to ask for information from internal team members.
  • Have a passion for live events and experiences. This could be Culture, Sports, Music or Theatre.

  • 3+ years of entertainment, marketing, agency or digital experience
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • A sense of humor is not only a plus, it’s mandatory

While we offer a competitive salary and benefits for the position, we also offer a range of perks for mind, body and spirit that have continued to put us among the best places to work.
Three we think you'll enjoy the most:

1. Access to the best entertainment NYC has to offer: free museum admission, the best seats on Broadway and other see-it-to-believe-it experiences
2. Summer Fridays (half days) from Memorial Day through Labor Day
3. Free Dunkin’ Donuts card and snacks in the kitchen (and other office suprises like yoga and massages)
