It can be challenging to be in a room with a lot of younger actors. There is a difference between life and career experience.

This series is devoted to those actors who have been working professionally for the last 20 years, those who are late bloomers, and those who are returning to the business from a hiatus. We have assembled a team of Broadway and Regional industry veterans who are eager to explore material and make adjustments for today’s ever shifting theatrical market and audition demands.

Class One
On Broadway

Steve Edlund
(Associate Director - Broadway: The Music Man, Mrs. Doubtfire, Hello Dolly, A Bronx Tale, Sister Act)

In this class each actor will bring in a 32 bar cut of a song from a role on Broadway, Touring or done often regionally that they can step into right now.

 Class Two

We know Pop/Rock can be a challenge! We promise though that each person can find their niche in the Pop/Rock canon and Duncan is here to help you craft the piece.  Each actor will bring in their Pop/Rock piece to work with Duncan.

Class Three
Audition Cuts
Matt Kunkel
Resident Director - The MUNY

Bring in your two contrasting 16-32 bar cuts.  These should be your Go To Pieces.  Matt will work your material OR find better suited rep. from your book.  The goal of this class is to explore repertoire in a nuanced way that is appropriate for roles you're going in for!
