Thinking about taking the leap and becoming a producer? Already dipped your toe in the water, but could use some support and guidance? Whether you’ve got serious commercial goals, want to develop significant works in a non-profit environment or are a self-producer creating opportunities to showcase yourself and friends, Theater Resource Unlimited offers ongoing training and access to an invaluable network of professionals. Meeting once a month for 9-10 months, the Producer Development & Mentorship Program offers two levels of training, and we have extended our application deadline for 2019-20 with limited availabilty.

FOUNDATIONS is open to everyone interested in producing, and will meet on Tuesday nights mostly, starting September 24. If you have experience in producing or have taken CTI classes, you may be eligible for MASTER CLASS, which has a more competitive application process, and meets mostly Monday nights starting October 21.

The FOUNDATIONS class will be led by producer/consultant/former general manager R. Erin Craig of La Vie Productions (Himself and Nora, Stalking the Bogeyman, Mr. Ricky Calls a Meeting, Austen's Pride, Academy, Right Before I Go benefit in October 2017). Cost: $295, plus a $95 TRU membership.

The MASTER CLASS for Foundations graduates and other eligible candidates will be led by Broadway producers Jane Dubin (The Prom, Tony winning The Norman Conquests, Farinelli and the King, Bandstand, Peter and the Starcatcher and An American in Paris; plus Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey, The 39 Steps, Ann; upcoming: Fingersmith) and Rachel Weinstein (Tony winner for The Ferryman, Dear Evan Hansen, Disgraced, The Heiress with Jessica Chastain, An American in Paris; upcoming: Jagged Little Pill). Cost $425, plus a $95 TRU membership.
