Websites like are full of opportunities to be a Teaching Artist. That’s because it’s a great way to make money, help your community, and hone your craft while still having the flexibility to audition and perform. Maybe you love the idea of sharing your passion with kids, but you worry you don’t have the skills to develop curriculum and manage classroom behavior.

Let me help you!

For the past fifteen years, I have made my living exclusively as a Teaching Artist in the greater NYC area, working in nearly every environment imaginable. Using a combination of these experiences and advanced degrees in both music theatre and education, I have created an online course to train future Teaching Artists.

And it’s ready for registration now!

This course will provide personal feedback on assignments, and even an opportunity to practice your new skills live with an all-day teaching workshop in NYC. (Participants outside of the NYC area are welcome to join via Skype, and/ or submit a video for feedback.) This Beta version is being offered at less than 1/3 of my private lesson rate, and also includes information on how to get hired as a Teaching Artist. Therefore, it’s only open to the first 10 students who register.
