Administrative Assistant to the Executive Producer
7-time Tony Award-winning production office is seeking an administrative assistant for its Executive Producer.
Position provides all administrative assistance including, but not limited to, heavy calendar management scheduling professional and personal appointments, phones, expenses, comprehensive filing and record keeping, editing and proofreading of financial and legal documents, and working closely with all office and personal staff.
In addition to current Broadway, West End, touring and international productions, Executive Producer is overseeing a roster of projects in various stages of development. Assistant will be responsible for keeping the Executive Producer organized and apprised of deadlines; coordinating amateur rights requests; and coordinating with and assisting general management as necessary on all productions currently running and in pre-production.
The ability to multi-task and prioritize while remaining extremely organized and operating with a high level of accuracy are paramount. Strong organizational skills are a must. Those who have succeeded in the past have been the calm in the storm of a busy work environment.
This is not an entry-level position. Only candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the theatre and/or administrative fields will be contacted for interviews. Work experience and background will be strongly considered. The position is ideal for a person who is interested in theatrical general management.
