Administrative / Production Assistant
Theatrical event production office needs part-time, pre-production support through December 2019.
The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of theatre. They must be detail-oriented and accurate in maintaining names and numbers. Must have excellent organization, communication (both written and oral), and interpersonal skills. Must also possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task, learn quickly, and have strong recall in a fast-paced work environment. Must be professional and comfortable engaging with vendors and clients. Customer support experience is valuable.
Duties will include:
Work directly with owner to maintain and edit proposals and budgets
Work directly with owner to create, manage, and staff upcoming events
Keep content of databases, lists, and contacts current
Make phone calls to staff, vendors, and clients
Support other staff in various projects
Daily office and administrative duties
Petty cash reconciliation
Edit, resize, and archive photos
Ability to efficiently use Mac operating systems – occasional basic IT troubleshooting required
Work closely with seasoned Broadway professionals

Involvement with the American Theatre Wing Gala and International Emmy Awards
$15 per hour. Must be available Monday-Friday 4-5 hours per day during traditional business hours. Occasional evenings and weekends. Additional compensation for events.
