Assistant Company Manager:
The ACM will support the Company Manager in arranging housing, transportation, hospitality (including tech catering, various company parties & events), financial and contract files, and house seats- everything to make our seasonal staff feel at home in the Hudson Valley. Various responsibilities mean you will forge strong relationships with the Company Manager, Managing Director, Artistic Director, Finance Director and more. In a given day you could be on-site at the theater tent for the night, going on a local tour stop with the company, or crushing an Excel doc at the office.
In August, the ACM will be the lead CM on HVSF’s annual reading series, HVSF2, and will perform all company management duties for the visiting artists with supervision from the Company Manager and assistance from the CM Intern as needed.
Great candidates must be organized and resourceful, with fantastic communication skills. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of theatrical and/or event management experience, and are knowledgeable in Excel, Google applications, and AEA contracts, especially LORT. Driver’s license and excellent driving record are required, but owning your own car is not.
Private housing in the Hudson Valley and a shared rental car for local transportation are provided. ACM is required to be in residence at company housing. Salary is $500/wk + bumps as required during tech.
