DESCRIPTION

The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene Is Seeking A Full Time Associate Company Manager

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: TBD

Salary: $45, 000 per year Equal to $865 per week (plus benefits)- Negotiable

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting with executing contracts, union filings and weekly reports and royalty reports.

Booking travel as needed for artists; arranging local transportation for company members as needed; assisting with payroll preparation and distribution; maintaining files; completing company house seat orders; assisting with the planning of events; occasionally covering shows and reviewing box office statements

 

Requirements:

B.A. In Theatre Or Performing Arts

At least two years experience as a company manager

Knowledge of the NY theater scene, contracts and union rules

It is the longest continuously-producing Yiddish theatre company in the world and the oldest consecutively-producing performing arts institution in the US.
