Female, 40-50, white. Plays two characters. LON LAVECCHIA (early 70s, Italian American, working class with a heavy Rhode Island accent. He is a retired factory worker, who is now king of his castle at home. Confident in his authority and a quiet observer by nature) and DANIELLA LAVECCHIA (late 30s, Italian American, daughter to Roberta and Lon, with no trace of a regional accent. Educated, white-collar worker from a working-class background. Her professional success is at odds with the traditional values she was raised with and embraces. She is competent, a giver, and the type of person you would want to have as your best friend). PART ALREADY CAST, AUDITIONS FOR REPLACEMENT AND UNDERSTUDIES ONLY.
Male. 40-50, white. Plays two characters. ROBERTA LAVECCHIA (late 60s, Italian American, working class with a heavy Rhode Island accent. A tough mother hen who is devoted to her family and lives through her children. She is unfiltered, passionate, engaged, i.e., a force of nature) and ROBBIE LAVECCHIA (mid 40s, Italian American, son to Roberta and Lon, with no trace of a regional accent. He is an electrician for the military. He is warm, earthy, loyal, a good brother, a good son, i.e., a guy’s guy. He is also sensitive but not particularly comfortable expressing emotion). PART ALREADY CAST, AUDITIONS FOR REPLACEMENT AND UNDERSTUDIES ONLY.
Male. 40-50, white. Plays two characters. THERESA PHELAN (late 60s, Irish American, working class with a heavy Rhode Island accent. A widow who aspires to improve herself and her social status. Believes in discipline and hard work over “touchy-feely nonsense.” Has a good heart but is uptight and strict) and TIM PHELAN (mid 40s, Italian American, son to Theresa, with no trace of a regional accent. Educated and driven. Can get along with a lot of people, but is not good at relaxing and enjoying life. He is managing an anxiety disorder). PART ALREADY CAST, AUDITIONS FOR REPLACEMENT AND UNDERSTUDIES ONLY.

The Kitchen Theatre Company shall conduct all auditions/interviews in a manner that continues to promote fair consideration to ethnic minorities, women, seniors, and performers with disabilities.
