Job Details

Actors, Movers, Dancers, Singers, Musicians, Film-Makers and Visual Artists!

We are devising a short film that will be composed using various artistic mediums and we need YOUR help!

Contagio(us) is a story told by and for survivors of sexual assault. We seek to connect with and empower survivors through the creation of this film.

We are seeking artists of any gender identity (male, female, non-binary), age, and ethnicity with a connection to this concept. We are looking for collaborators to fill roles in production as well as performers. If you wish to perform in the film, you must have a physical movement background in dance or theatre.

We’ll be building this piece from scratch and are looking for collaborators of all kinds - especially those who have experience working in more than one medium!

To apply, send an email with your resume and/or website to by September 23 - and tell us why working on this project is intriguing to you!

If you are an artist with many creative talents please specify them all! If you are a musician, let us know what you play and at what level.

There will be a group audition for those being considered for a performance spot.

Rehearsals and shooting will take place in the NYC area.

 More about us:

The SCRATCH Artists Collective is a budding production company. Our goal is to make cutting-edge collaborative works that push the boundaries of film, physical theatre, dance and music.

This is our second short film as a company. We have spent the past month organizing a fundraiser for our budget and we are thrilled to have reached and raised that budget.  We look forward to reading your submissions!

Lead collaborators will receive a small stipend. Ensemble collaborators will be available offered footage for reel/self-promotion.
