DESCRIPTION

Seeking a director for new play aciremA, conceived and written by Georgeta Rae. 

PLOT: It is 2059 aciremA where we have progressed technology with regressed mindsets. Following the 2057 extermination of the majority of the Jewish population, mental institutions are reformed to incarcerate those who are "different" from aciremA’s new form of government, as well as the Jewish survivors. Aletta, a young Jewish artist meets Brenston, a boy with autism while in the institution. As their friendship grows, Brenston shows Aletta the world the way he sees it, which is dark and yet full of hope, creativity, and light.
