Broadway Asia, the international producing, general management and licensing firm founded by Tony Award winning producers Marc Routh and Simone Genatt, is seeking an energetic, intelligent, good-humored, and motivated professional with a theatre management background to assist the Senior General Manager on their upcoming production, “Kung Fu Panda Spectacular.” This is an exciting full time opportunity to work on a large-scale international theatrical production, liaising with a high-level Broadway and circus creative team.

The General Management Assistant will handle the daily business related to this upcoming production, support general and company management, and assist in finance and administrative operations.


-          Assist the Senior General Manager of the upcoming large-scale theatrical production based on the Kung Fu Panda films

-          Help advance the production through the pre-production process

-          Manage production calendars and liaise with production personnel to schedule meetings, prepare materials, and ensure that timelines for deliverables are met

-          Compile and update production contact sheets

-          Follow up with artists and agents on contract status

-          Ensure all contractual obligations to creative team, cast, and crew are executed

-          In coordination with the Company Manager, handle travel including flights, housing, transfers, visas, per diems, and any other logistical needs as required

-          Provide off and on-site support for meetings, rehearsals, workshops, and other production-related events as required

-          Collect and maintain receipts and records of production expenses to ensure accurate bookkeeping

-          Execute credit card and petty cash reconciliations and expense reimbursements

-          Other ad hoc tasks as needed



-          2-3 years of professional experience in the administrative side of the theater industry

-          Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail

-          Familiarity with contracts and budgets

-          Must have very strong written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills

-          Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also work independently

-          Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and be adaptable to various competing demands

-          Expert in Microsoft Excel and Word

-          Familiarity with QuickBooks, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint a plus
