(Male 50s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- RICHARD OF GLOUCESTER in Richard III: (this role is CAST, but it is still determined which of the following the actor will also be playing)
- PROFESSOR BALANZONI in Venetian Twins: A Pantalone type. Miserly, nasty temper and frustrated by his willful daughter... and just a bit creepy. Lots of secrets.
- OR PANCRAZIO in Venetian Twins: Extra creepy inside but all smiles on the outside. A big pretender. Desperate for love in his autumn years and kind of skeevy about it.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 2
(Male 50s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- KING EDWARD IV, LORD STANLEY, AS CAST in Richard III: Dedicated to achieving resolution among the various political factions of his reign. Having imprisoned his brother Clarence out of suspicion, he must face the consequences of Clarence’s sudden death; He is haunted by guilt and grief.
- PROFESSOR BALANZONI in Venetian Twins: A Pantalone type. Miserly, nasty temper and frustrated by his willful daughter... and just a bit creepy. Lots of secrets.

(Male 40s-50s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- CLARENCE, AS CAST in Richard III: A thinking man. A kind and trusting man and father. The middle brother between King Edward and Richard he is the epitome of gentle strength, and empathy.
- BRIGHELLA in Venetian Twins: An older servant. Faithful and kind. A funny eccentric older man. Probably hums to himself a lot.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 4
(Male, 30s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- DUKE OF BUCKINGHAM, AS CAST in Richard III: Richard’s co-conspirator; skillful and shrewd, cunning and charismatic; a hustler with a bit of decency; the only disciple who breaks with Richard; - ZANNETO / TONINO in Venetian Twins: One is a complete and hilarious idiot but doesn’t know it. The other is dashing and witty and knows it.

ACTOR TRACK 5
(Male, 30s/40s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- LORD HASTINGS, AS CAST in Richard III: Maintains his integrity, remaining loyal to the family of King Edward IV. Hastings winds up dead for making the mistake of trusting Richard.
- ARLECHINO in Venetian Twins: A servant. Simple minded and playful. Thinks he is very smart but, sadly, is not.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role

ACTOR TRACK 6
(Male, 20s-30s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- EARL OF RICHMOND, MURDERER, AS CAST in Richard III: A chief supporter of Richard and an important figure in his coup. He attempts to win Hastings over to Richard's cause with a quite stunning lack of subtlety, and fails.
- FLORINDO in Venetian Twins: Dashing and suffers from the agony of love. Tortured with guilt.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role

ACTOR TRACK 7
(Male, 30s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- CATESBY, MURDERER, AS CAST in Richard III: Richard’s loyal ally throughout the play.
- LELIO in Venetian Twins: A fabulous and idiotic peacock. Arrogant and vain. He is also an idiot. - It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 8
(Female, 20s-30s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- LADY ANNE in Richard III Begins the play mourning the death of both her husband and father; she will stop at nothing to escape Richard’s brutal strength, but succumbs to the reality of her circumstances: wedding Richard to become Queen of England.
- ROSURA in Venetian Twins: Ingenue. Sister to Zanetto and Tonino (although please keep that to yourself spoiler!). So....half stupid, somewhat bratty and could be Valley girl/goth. Wicked vocal fry. Loves the mirror. Uses her tears as a weapon.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 9
(Female, 30-40s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- QUEEN ELIZABETH: Elizabeth must navigate her husband’s abrupt death, the politics of royal descent, fight to protect her children, and finally cope with their violent deaths; when Gloucester abuses her daughter, she is a changed woman.
- BEATRICE in Venetian Twins: Badass and self -possessed but with a romantic streak. She also feels the ache of love. A bit of a drama queen
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 10
(Female, 30s-40s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- DUCHESS OF YORK: Mother to Richard, Clarence, and Edward, the Duchess watches Richard’s gradual elimination of his family for royal gain.
- HOLOFERNES in Love’s Labor’s Lost: Went to Harvard and will never, ever let you forget it.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 11
(Female, 50s or above) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- QUEEN MARGARET, AS CAST in Richard III: The former monarch, a Lancaster in the hands of the Yorks; she is cutting and has a blistering wit; she is ambitious, discerning, and as savvy as anyone in the play; she sees Richard’s appetite clearly.
- BOYET in Love’s Labor’s Lost: chaperone to the Princess and her train. Observant, smart, likable, if not a little too serious sometimes.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 12
(Male, early/late 20s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- BEROWNE in Love’s Labor’s Lost: In a group of four friends, the one who is most likely to convince the others that jumping off the roof and landing in an empty swimming pool full of bags of leaves is a good idea.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 13
(Male, late 40s-50s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- ARMADO in Love’s Labor’s Lost: This character has been heavily altered from the Don Armado written by Shakespeare. Something of a con man, hob-nobbing with the wealthy while having no financial means of his own. He’s invited to dinner parties because his persona and stories are incredibly entertaining. Falls in love with a younger woman and makes a fool of himself trying to win her over.

ACTOR TRACK 14
(Male, 40s-50s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- DULL in Love’s Labor’s Lost: A man of few words.

(Male , late 30s-50s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- NATHANIEL in Love’s Labor’s Lost: A man of the cloth, but in a superficial sense. Likes to spend time with Holofernes and be a bit snobby about the less educated of the town.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 16
(Female early/late 20s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- PRINCESS in Love’s Labor’s Lost: Serious, smart, and carrying heavy responsibilities. She’s never gotten to simply “be”. Her friends are the people who know her best.
- It is IMPERATIVE that we see actors of all ethnicities for this role.

ACTOR TRACK 17
(Female early/late 20s) TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING:
- ROSALINE in Love’s Labor’s Lost: In a group of four friends, the one who is most likely to volunteer for the overnight driving shift on the road trip and can be trusted to not fall asleep. She’s also the one who is best at talking her way out of speeding tickets.
