Broadway productions contract Broadway Plus to provide In-House Marketing & Hospitality Management. Producers turn to us to provide a dedicated team member to handle all things related to patron hospitality, photo booth marketing, special events, and VIP/Press guests in the theater.
About This Position
The In-House Marketing & Hospitality Manager will assist designated Broadway show’s management, marketing and press team with in-theatre activations, capturing content in-house through audience engagement and VIP meet & greets.
This is a FULL-TIME, 8 Shows a Week position. The ideal candidate is interested in a position that blends acting / performance skillsets with knowledge of press / marketing administrative needs. This person is organized, personable, and an extrovert. This is a contract position and is paid weekly.
We are looking for someone who will take initiative and ownership of this role bringing with them a general background knowledge of the entertainment industry.
Management of social activations
Emailing communications with press/marketing as well as general/stage management
Showing up on time for call
Knowledge of show’s social handles and hashtags
Properly reading the vibe of a room and make decisions accordingly
Able to think quickly on feet
Other on-site audience engagement tasks as assigned
Completed 2 or 4 year undergraduate program - ideally majoring some combination of Communication / Theatre
Feels comfortable talking to large groups of people
Basic knowledge of photography
Experience with all social media platforms
Strong verbal skills
Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone, and via email
