Audition Notice: Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry 2019

Project Type: Theatre

Sundog Theatre is searching for 15 actors: - men and women - for their annual production of ‘Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry 2019’, original plays from writers throughout the US and abroad.
‘Scenes’ consists of 6 one-act plays, this year featuring audience-choice alternate endings.

Casting 7 men/women 20s to 30s, plus 8 men/women 40s to 60s. Each play has 2-3 actors.

Potential AEA Showcase.

Manhattan Open Call Dates: Monday 1/21/2019

Time: 4:30 - 6:30pm

Manhattan Location: Playwright’s

Rehearsal Studio at 440 Lafayette Street (Across from the Public Theatre) studio 4C

Staten Island Open Call Dates: Tuesday 1/29/2019

Time: 5:30 – 7:30pm

Staten Island Location: Staten Island Children’s Museum @ Snug Harbor at 1000 Richmond Terrace, SI, NY 10301

Rehearsal dates/location New Dorp Moravian Church Theatre 2250 Richmond Road (SIRR Train stop nearby)

Evenings: 6:30-9:00pm 2/18, 2/19, 2/20 and 2/22/2019

Dress Rehearsal: 2/23/2019 from 12:00pm- 7:00pm

Performance dates at New Dorp Moravian Church Theatre

Evenings @ 8:00pm: 2/23, 3/1, 3/2

Matinees @ 3:00pm: 2/24 and 3/3/2019

Pay scale: $100 flat rate

Bring: resume and headshot

Prepare: 1 minute monologue or read from provided sides if you have worked the ‘Scenes’ series previously.
