The Shakespeare Theatre Company seeks a Marketing Manager to join our busy Marketing & Communications team. This position is responsible for co-creating and managing all short-term and long-term strategies for single ticket sales, subscription sales, direct marketing and teleservices sales for STC; designing and managing media buys to support sales strategies and to maximize revenue potential; utilizing sales channels and investigating new avenues for advertising to audiences; and is responsible for major data and sales analysis for the department and much of the organization. A Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Management, Marketing, or Theatre with equivalent professional experience is required, as well as an additional 3 to 6 years of professional marketing experience. Extensive knowledge of ticketing and database systems, ideally Tessitura, preferred. The Marketing Manager supervises our Web and Media Programmer, Marketing and Communications Coordinator, and Marketing Fellow, therefore supervisory experience is required as well.
