The York Theatre Company
New York, NY 10022
The York Theatre Company is currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary Season producing and developing new musicals as well as reviving musicals from the past that are often overlooked, undiscovered or in need of being revisited. We have presented over 80 full-scale musical productions, including such classics as The Golden Apple, On the 20th Century, A Doll’s Life, Lost in the Stars, Carnival!, Merrily We Roll Along, and, most recently, Desperate Measures, Cagney, Midnight at The Never Get, Yank!, Enter Laughing, and The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!)
The York is seeking current or recently graduated college students to engage in a hands-on, educational internship experience. The York, which is dedicated to its mission to the production of new musicals, strives to give new theatre professionals the same first stepping-stone. Interns will be exposed to all aspects of working for a professional not-for-profit theatre company.
