This musical revue was developed in collaboration with The Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization and was designed to promote tolerance and acceptance using the words and lyrics of the great Oscar Hammerstein II. Themes running through his works promote important messages of human tolerance and cultural understanding that we hope will resonate with the minds of today’s young people. Oscar Hammerstein II believed in celebrating your uniqueness and differences- not shying away from them. This message still remains true today. These themes were represented through his show stopping numbers like “Old Man River”, “Climb Every Mountain”, “You’ve Got to Be Carefully Taught” and more performed on the tour.
