MAMMA MIA:

MAMMA MIA is a romantic comedy, contrasting the dreams and aspirations of a 70’s girl and a 90’s girl. Through the story-telling magic of the songs of ABBA, we meet DONNA, a feisty, independent single-parent, who doesn’t need a man to make her life complete; and her twenty-year old daughter SOPHIE, who wants romance, babies and a big, white wedding. If only her father could give here away…
Sun, sea, sex and subterfuge are the backdrop to this tale of the women who wanted to have it all, and the girls who want happy ever after. And has anyone asked what the men want?

PLEASE NOTE: This is an unpaid community theatre production.

JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT:

Sha la la Joseph you’re doing fine! You and your dreamcoat ahead of your time! One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.

Told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narratorthe musical follows preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled, Elvis-inspired, Pharaoh. Joseph’s solution to Egypt’s famine elevates him to Pharaoh’s right-hand man and reunites him with his family.
