Operations Manager Position at The Actors Theatre Workshop

This position focuses on supporting The Actors Theatre Workshop’s mission to deliver award-winning theatre, community programs and classes by using administrative and operational skills.

The Operations Manager will oversee ATW’s daily operations and studio rental business and will have an active, hands-on role assisting and managing members of ATW’s volunteer corps as they undertake various projects, including marketing and operating ATW’s classes and community programs.

The Operations Manager will report directly to the Senior Staff of the organization and work closely with the Artistic Director and Founder.

Our goal is that this position be a full-time, 40 hour per week position, but we are open to part-time of 30 hours. The starting compensation level is $12-$15 an hour, with opportunities for increases. An additional valuable benefit for staff is the opportunity to develop creatively by participating in classes and programs taught by ATW’s Artistic Director and Founder Thurman E. Scott.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience
Theatre background is preferred but not a requirement
Hard-working, punctual, personable and positive
Good computer / technical skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, think on your feet, interact with a diverse group of people, and work independently


This is a 30-40+ hour per week job, with hours varying during the week depending on the theatre’s overall schedule. We are open Monday - Saturday from 9:00am - 10:30pm. Occasional Sundays.
