Page 73
seeks individuals with an affinity for theater arts and administration. Each internship provides candidates unique insight into the inner workings of an award-winning Off-Broadway theater company. All Page 73 interns have access to the organizational leadership. We recognize that these internships are learning opportunities and whenever possible we will answer questions and explain processes. Regardless of your internship, you will meet our artists and interact with our Board and donors. You will be able to read scripts and you will be invited to attend (or work) all of our events. Page 73 interns must be reliable, intelligent, kind, and game for anything. Our interns are a valuable part of the Page 73 team!

Our two internships are defined as follows:

Production and Development Intern
We are hiring two Producing and Development Interns. These interns will work hand-in-hand with the Director of Development and Managing Director.  Page 73 interns will learn about and assist with the following:
     • Soliciting annual funds from individuals, foundations, and government entities.
     • Supporting the 20th Anniversary Campaign, the Annual Gala, and two individual appeals.
     • Constructing acknowledgment letters, processing donations, and assisting with data management.
     • Grant writing, budgeting, contracts, vendor management, logistics, and office management.
     • Maintaining the website and social media accounts, and creating eBlasts (depending on skill level)

You are an excellent communicator, highly organized, not afraid of spreadsheets, self-motivated, a great proofreader, and active on social media. Some graphic design skills would be ideal, but are not necessary.

Artistic Intern
This intern works closely with and provides support for the Artistic Director and Artistic Associate. The intern will support Page 73’s full range of artistic programming and will assist with maintaining the AD’s schedule, coverage, producing logistics, and other tasks. General administrative duties will be required.

You will excel at this internship if you are good at coordinating logistics, managing a calendar and have interest in play structure and dramaturgy.

Intern Requirements
     • Hours are flexible, but Interns are expected to work 20 hours over the course of each week during business hours, which are generally 10am-6pm, Monday through Friday. Ideally, the intern would be available from time to time to assist with nighttime events.
     • This internship will begin after Labor Day in September 2019 and run through May/June 2020. We feel spending the year at Page 73 is a unique opportunity that allows learning across a full season of events.
     • Applicants should be currently enrolled students for the duration of the internship, or should be recent (May 2019) graduates.
     • Interns should live within commutable distance, as errands are sometimes required at the beginning or end of the work day. Page 73’s office is located in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn, near Atlantic Center, at 80 Hanson Place.
     • Candidates should be self-starters who are able to work independently on a variety of projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Gmail/Google Drive required. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp (or similar marketing email platform), and OvationTix (or similar ticketing platform) a plus.

Intern Benefits
     • $50 weekly stipend and course credit if desired.
     • Opportunity to attend Page 73 productions, readings, workshops, and special events.
     • Opportunity to work closely with core leadership staff.
     • Ability to tailor certain aspects of the internship to an intern’s specific areas of interest.
