Male and female Actors for the upcoming production of SHAKESPEARE IN THE STREETS. Please see breakdown for more information.

BREAKDOWN

King Louis, an aged king. Male and white.

Regan, the eldest daughter or son of King Louis, any race. Evil. 30’s

Goneril, the middle daughter or son of King Louis, any race. Comically evil. 20s-30s

Cordelia, the youngest daughter of King Louis, a young black woman, courageous and idealistic. 20- 25

King (or Queen) Frank, an young idealist from Somewhere Else. Any race or gender.

Poor Tom, a mysterious master of disguise, a homeless street poet and preacher, and later, a champion. Acts as a
chorus. Any race or gender.

Fool, any race, gender or age. Sings.
Kent, friend and contemporary to King Louis. Stubborn and blunt and loyal, any race or gender.

Four other company members to perform as cast. These roles could include Albany, Cornwall, Edmund, Oswald, or
others. Two should be older and two should be younger; any race or gender.
