DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for outgoing, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented theater lovers to join our NYC Concierge Agent team. Reporting to Guest Services management, Concierge Agents act as brand ambassadors through the timely and friendly delivery of tickets and brand materials to our valued guests at individual theaters throughout Manhattan.

We are currently hiring individuals with a minimum availability of five (5) 1-hour shifts per week. We request that at least two of these shifts fall on a weekend. Our most demanding periods are Wednesday matinee, Friday evening, and Saturday matinee and evening performance times.

Considerations:

  • The rate of pay is $15/hour. Shifts are typically 60-90 minutes in length.
  • Typical shifts range between 1:00-3:00 PM and 6:30-8:30 PM.
  • For applicants living outside of Manhattan, please consider your personal commute to the Midtown area for an hour-long shift.
  • Please expect to work shifts during holiday periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of ticket orders and brand materials including the company’s print magazine, The X.
  • Maintain and wear the uniform provided in addition to abiding by a style guide designed for patron-facing employees.
  • Complete post shift reports either verbally or in survey format.
  • Participate in a quarterly review process in which individual members and the team at large discuss, brainstorm, and develop new processes with a goal of improving service.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to twenty (20) pounds.
  • Must supply his/her/their own iPhone or Android device for scheduling, time card, and communication purposes.
  • The ideal candidate is a reliable, trustworthy team player.
