Ticketing Services Manager

 

Tony award winning theatre Paper Mill Playhouse, Millburn NJ, just seventeen miles from NYC, is in search of a Ticketing Services Manager. Reporting to the Director of Communications, Marketing and Membership, the Ticketing Services Manager manages all ticket operations, including: Box Office, Subscriptions, Group Sales and Telesales. The Manager of Ticketing Services is the primary administrator of the computerized ticketing system (Tessitura) and implements all policies and procedures to ensure excellence in customer service and satisfaction.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise Box Office, Subscriptions, Group Sales and Telesales managers to create a dynamic sales environment and the maximum efficiency of staff. 
  • Supervise box office reconciliations.
  • Oversee use of ticketing software. Build and maintain all aspects of season system build, including events, price tables, sales packages and online sales build.  Maintain control and operator access within the system.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department in creating all relevant promotional programs, mailing list generation, and website ticketing portal for online ticket sales.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Communications, Marketing and Membership.
  • Work to resolve elevated Customer Service matters.

 

 

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years of ticketing management experience
  • Proficiency in Tessitura, Microsoft Word, Excel and the ability to learn related programs
  • Has a passion for theater.
  • Should exhibit a high degree of organization (both project oriented and a multi-tasker), attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Positive can-do attitude;
  • Must be comfortable managing a large staff.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as a team.
