 BE A FLEA! SEEKING A PART-TIME WARDROBE SUPERVISOR

The award-winning Flea Theater seeks a highly motivated Wardrobe Supervisor for our upcoming world premiere of Todd Solondz's "Emma and Max,” featuring a cast of four AEA actors (3 female identifying and 1 male identifying).

The Wardrobe Supervisor will be an essential part of the production team working closely with the Director, Production Manager, and Wardrobe Manager.

Working with the Costume Designer and Stage Manager, responsibilities include scheduling and executing daily laundry and maintenance; maintenance and styling of 1 wig; and show run duties that include pre-set, quick changes, strike, etc.

The position starts on September 24th and the Wardrobe Supervisor must be present during the tech week period of  Sept 26th through 30th. The show runs through November 4th with a possible extension to the 19th, 7 shows/week (7pm Mon., Wed., Thurs., Fri.; 3pm & 7pm Sat.; 3pm Sun.) and the Wardrobe Supervisor is expected to attend all performances.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-driven, quick and confident in decision-making, and encourages open communication. Must have previous experience in wardrobe/dressing for theatrical productions and wigs. Candidate must have problem-solving abilities and the kind of attitude necessary to enjoy working in a lively downtown atmosphere. Extremely organized with a keen attention to detail, they must also be a dynamic self-starter and strategic thinker who possesses knowledge of and passion for the arts and belief in the mission of The Flea and Off-Off-Broadway.

The Flea is one of the industry's leading Off-Off-Broadway theaters. Productions include ten World Premieres by A.R. Gurney as well as World Premiere productions by Elizabeth Swados, Adam Rapp, Will Eno, Itamar Moses, Thomas Bradshaw, Sheila Callaghan, Erin Courtney, Sean Graney and others.
